Jerry walked about 20 feet down the hallway yesterday with just the railing for support! He is also talking more and gaining control and movement on his right side. He enjoys arm wrestling using his good left arm and joking with his grandkids on their frequent visits. He is also feeding himself and communicating his preferences and requests very well.

Glad to hear the good news of Jerry’s accomplishments. My husband had a stroke one year ago today–he is doing well with his walker and being able to get around the house & shopping some–we are thankful. It is amazing how a person can recover from a stroke–teaching the brain to tell the part that needs to move. Long journey, but satisfying each step of the way. Prayer going to God for Jerry still!!
